Open System by clicking theStartbutton, right-clickingComputer, and then clickingProperties.
In the left pane, clickAdvanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
On theAdvancedtab, underPerformance, clickSettings.
Click theAdvancedtab, and then, underVirtual memory, clickChange.
Clear theAutomatically manage paging file size for all drivescheck box.
UnderDrive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file you want to change.
ClickCustom size, type a new size in megabytes in theInitial size (MB)orMaximum size (MB)box, clickSet, and then clickOK.
